#1 trait greatest email copywriter and I share.

Two months ago,

I was reading an article by Matt Furey (YES, the guy universally accepted as the greatest email copywriter).

And as I was reading, he said something that struck me - solid hard:

“Oftentimes, before I write, I will read from a great book. Usually it is the same book – and it isn’t a book on copywriting.” he said.

This was the first time I heard a copywriter say he gets inspired reading books -and NOT swipe files.

But recently, I noticed I do something similar myself:

Manytimes before I sit and write, I hop onto youtube and listen to charles buwoski poems. His poems are powerful. His words inspire me to write daily emails (and become a writer). And infact, I got many email ideas while I was listening to his poems:

For example:

Remember the Lucifer theme email I sent last month?

I got this idea while I was listening to his famous poem “So you wanna be a writer”.

I cannot explain it.

But his poems light flames to the creative leaves of my mind. That's why, I suggest you do the same.

Before YOU write, go and listen to your favorite poems, read your favorite book. Or anything great written by a great writer. Do this and see how your creativity will pop out, and your words will flow from your fingers like a beautiful river.

All for today,

But before I leave:

If you want to borrow my creativity to write riveting emails that inspire your readers to buy your products - then reply to this email saying “copy” and I will get back to you.

OR...

If you use X then hop onto my black-themed profile and drop me a DM saying "copy" to do the same:
