This copywriting picture is worth a 1000 bucks
October 11, 2023
It was the day I started copywriting.
And it was also the day I read my first EVER copywriting book. You've probably heard it - it's called copywriting secrets.
Anyway, at first...
I planned to stick with email copywriting as sales pages seemed overwhelming (to my eyes). And as I started learning about how to write emails, how many to send a day, email automation, and so on...
I had this one question that NOBODY addressed.
It was this:
"After I put my readers in my broadcast list what should I send them daily to NOT be boring?"
This is a very legit question right?
Believe me... I searched the entire internet and youtube, but I found NO answer addressing it the way I expected.
Most of the answers I got were saying, "Once you put your readers in the broadcast list, just send the daily value emails, and once in a blue moon give them a sales pitch email"
Okay, that makes sense...
But how?
What to send so I don't bore my readers?
What can I send them daily and not be predictable?
And what are the different types of emails?
Nobody was addressing these questions straight. And I also noticed they are common questions of most other email marketers too.
Guess how I solved it?
Around the same month as reading copywriting secrets, I bought another book. It was the world-famous book by Russell Brunson.
But I didn't read it (as I was busy reading other books). But one day, I picked it up and started breezing through the pages of his book. And unexpectedly, I found this one picture. Frankly that single picture solved all my "what to send daily in emails" problems.
How?
See in that picture he shared 11 unique kinds of emails you can send to your readers.
It was an eye-opening picture.
You wanna see it?
Here it is:

You see?
He literally solved my problem in a SINGLE picture.
That's why I call this picture worth 1000 words.
And if you're reading this Russell - thank you so much for sharing this picture (and writing this AMAZING book)
Now speaking of this picture:
I've been practicing writing these 11 kinds of emails for almost two months now. Some days, I write epiphany, other days I write educational-style emails, and so on...
And ONLY doing this for the last two months is already making my emails unique and unpredictable in my reader's eyes.
Why? because every day I've something new, something interesting to share with them. This makes my readers keep coming back for more, and more and more...
The key word here is "unpredictability".
That's all for today.
Now I'll see you tomorrow with something new...
