How Bruce Lee would have learned copywriting?

The other day… I was throwing shadow jabs in my gym. But my coach interrupted my practice to give me a lesson.

Now, this lesson (on the surface) is not special, fancy, unique, mindblowing, cool, or sexy...

But you know what?

This lesson has sharp teeth.

"See Bruce Lee wasn't a mma fighter. But he knew something that champions mma fighters deeply follow." My coach said.

I don't fear a man who knows 1000 kicks, but I fear the man who throws 1 kick 1000 times."

My coach further said:

"Alex Periera (a ufc champion) is the same. This guy is great at throwing left hooks. So great that he hook-handedly destroyed the entire division of UFC (with zero wrestling, and zero ground game). Alex is a champion because he's honed and mastered the art of throwing knock-out-worthy hooks. You have to be like him, Rohit. You are tall. You have a long arm reach... so you gotta master jab."

"That's your weapon," said my coach.

Anyway, here's why I bring him up:

The rabbit hole of copywriting is deep. There is so much you can learn (study, read, apply, and so on...) until your black hair goes grey.

But still, there will be tons of knowledge left on the table.

This is exciting, I know.

But it will lead you to jump your grasshopper mind (and hands) from buying one book to another book, from one course to another course... until (again) your hair goes grey or your wallet goes aray!

A better strategy?

Study one book.

Study one course.

Study one copywriter.

There ends the lesson of today.
