My fight, weigh ins, and trophy.
First thangs first:
If you opened this email to learn a copywriting or marketing tip, then you can safely stop reading this email.
Because today...
I will give you live, raw, and dry updates about my upcoming fight.
My fight is on this Sunday.
And you know... the closer I get to the fight the more confident I feel. I’m getting pumped to win and lift the trophy back to my gym.
BTW, tomorrow is my weigh-in. And I’m at the perfect weight.
But still, until tomorrow, I have to:
Eat no salt. Drink less than 1 liter of water. Eat meals not to enjoy but to survive my body. So I can end in perfect weight without any hassle of last-sec weight cut.
That’s the life of an amateur fighter.
You can only imagine how tough it gets when you climb the ladder to get your hands, face (and soul) scarred at the professional level.
But you know what?
These tough things build strong mindset.
I can tell you I learned more discipline, consistency, and grind by cutting weight and playing my first fight than by reading a stoic book ironically written by a weak skinny dork.
(Iykyk).
No, I am not asking you to fight fights.
(But, I would respect you if you decide to do that)
All I’m saying is:
You learn more with real-life experience of doing, learning, and failing than reading a bamboozle book.
Oops.
Did I give a copywriting tip just now?
Maybe.
Anyways, moving onto the important stuff.
