Frictionless emails
Yesterday evening I was in my room, reading one of my emails
And suddenly I realized, I was making a copywriting sin in my email CTAs.
No, it's NOT about the way I pitch.
Nor it's about my promises and/or offers being unreasonable
It's about:
Removing friction!
Here's what I mean:
See if you've read any of my past emails then you may have noticed that usually at the end of my emails I say something like:
If you'd like to get a hired gun to write emails for your readers then go to X (formerly twitter) and drop me a text...
But let me tell you
That ain’t the best example of removing all friction (for my buyers).
Now,
Let me show you a good example of removing friction - by simply adding a few extra words:
If you'd like to get a hired gun to write riveting emails for your readers then go to X (twitter) and drop me a text @rohitarjel...
OR... click the blue link below to directly jump onto my spunky twitter profile:
https://twitter.com/rohitarjel
===
See?
By simply adding a link I made my email CTA frictionless.
Now anyone reading this email who's interested in my offer can jump into my X profile in ONE single click.
So, keep these two words (remove friction) in mind when you write your next email, sales page, or any other piece of copy...
…so that YOUR new sales won’t slip through your fingers.
Talk soon,
Rohit Arjel
