How to be lucky (when you're the most unlucky person in the room)

Yesterday evening, I was sitting in my room listening to Sahil Bloom. Yep, the guy who is BIG on twitter. As I was listening, he started talking about different types of luck.

"There are four types of luck" he said.

Interesting right? Because (as of my knowledge) luck means luck. You're either lucky or not - end of discussion.

But he then went on and explained 4 types of luck in detail.

Here's what I understood from him (that can help YOU create luck):

The first luck was blind luck:

Now, this is the luck that you're familiar with. It's completely random. It's either in your favor or not. You cannot rely on it, and you cannot control it.

But the good news is,

The other three luck are controllable. Yep, you can control luck and bend the reality in your favor - to some extent.

Here they are:

1) Luck in motion (my favorite)

Even if you haven't heard of this luck, you've probably experienced it. Because this luck is created by hustle and tussle.

For instance:

Let's say you want to befriend a millionaire. To do this, you plan to work (as a waiter) in an expensive restaurant, which is often visited by the most wealthiest people in your country. And, during free hours of work, you decide to network with customers. You have a conversation with one new customer in the restroom every day.

(Imagine doing this for 1 month)

Don't you think you'll make many new connections and be friends with a few millionaires too?

I guess you will.

2) Spotting your luck

Here's a scenario:

There are two investors - the first is Warren Buffet, and the second is an average investor. Both have 10000 dollars to invest in the stock market.

Who do you think will better analyze the market? Who will make better investment decisions? And who will be more "lucky" with his investment?

My guess is Warran Buffet.

Why? Because when you're an expert in your niche, your eyes can notice things that fly below the radar of your competitors. And this expertise helps you make decisions that result in favorable (lucky) outcomes.

4) Luck from uniqueness

It's the rarest of all luck.

Let me explain:

Let's say you're the best see-diver in the world. You can dive, and go submarine-level deep in the oceans. All your see-diving friends praise you for your diving skillz. Now, imagine by blind luck, a random person finds a map of a hidden treasure sunk deep in the ocean. Even though he has the map, he can't go there by himself.

Well, guess what?

His blind luck luck just became your luck. He will now come to you and pay you money, so you can get the treasure for him.

===

Did you notice how these three lucks can be created (to a large extent).

But if you didn’t, let me tell you the ONLY element that can help you create such luck:

It’s called HARD WORK

Yep.

Sorry to say, no matter how lucky you are, you can't escape hard work. If you want to attain a specific result in your life, you have to go through the pain of hard work.

But trust me, once you are ready to get your hands dirty. Ready to do the hard work. You will see very many "lucky" things happening to you in your life.

By the way, there's an exception to this rule:

If you want to write riveting copy, you don't have to go through the hard work of learning copywriting. Many folks (like me) have hustled and tussled their way to learn it. You can hire them to get your job done in a few days.

And the best part is:

When you start to make new sales and fortune (in your business), your friends and/or peers will praise you with all sorts of things.

Some of them will even call you lucky.

How cool is that?

Anyhoo, if you wanna send riveting emails to your readers that make a ton of fortune, then reply to this email... OR... go to @rohitarjel on twitter, and drop me a message.

I'll get the job done for you.

Until next time,

Rohit (wants to be lucky) Arjel
