Youtube ads vs Youtube videos

Yesterday, when I was scrolling youtube I clicked the search bar to type:

Muhammad Ali motivational videos.

(now you know where my interest lies, heh).

Anyways, when I found the right video. I clicked on it. But as an average youtube user, I had to wait 5 seconds to skip the ad.

But guess what?

The ad got me hooked. And unusually I have watched that ad 3 times by now - without skipping.

Now guess who ran that ad?

Grammarly.

Yes, the software that saves your soul from silly grammar mistakes.

And, your soul just cant send post until its grammarly scanned.

Anyways,

If you're curious about that ad, then go to:

Once you watch..

Do hop back to this email as I want to tell you the only reason why that ad got me (and many others) hooked.

In one word.

Entertainment.

I mean, why would you watch an ad rather than watching a motivational video?

Because it was entertaining.

So remember this.

And always be entertaining.

Also, find new ways to be entertaining.

OR… hire a witty copywriter who can entertain the living hell out of your readers in a way that makes them laugh (and also makes their wallet fall off right in your hot hands).

In case:

You want me to write email and sales pages, then go ahead and reply to this email with the word “copy”.

OR...

Drop me a dm in twitter to do the same:

See you tomorrow

P.S. Yesterday, I wrote a song for email trolls. And I will share with you once I finish the beat and other jazz.

Just kidding, I'm not a singer.

I'm just a deadbroke writer like the Great Charles Bukwoski. But yeah, I have made a parody of a famous song and turned it into a troll song, and I will share with you before the next full moon.

Big Hint: That song has more than 1B views in youtube.
