"Send a welcome email when they join your list”

I never did this for the first 1 month of writing and sending daily emails.

Why? Because I despise the normal welcome email themes.

And I have my OWN valid reasons for it.

But first, tell me isn't this ironic?

I mean, this is the first email you received from me. And instead of sending an innocuous welcome email, I'm sending an email on why I don't like welcome emails.

(I chuckled and laughed when I realized this).

Anyways,

Let's go back to why I despise welcome emails.

Here's why:

1) They ask you to reply, and put the emails in the primary tab

(I don’t know about you, but I have never done that).

Why would I?

I'm new to your world. I (probably) don’t know you very well. So first, show me your emails deserve my time and attention. And once you do this. You don't even have to tell me to put emails in the primary tab.

I will do it because it favors me.

2) They show fake excitement by fraudulently hyping things up.

Just like that aunty who gives fake smiles when you and your parents visit her house. Many emailers send fake welcome emails. And in their email, they say how they are so happy and excited that you joined their list, and they can't wait to change your life.

Seriously?

I would rather tell them…

I am here to make moolah by proving value with my services... so I can fulfill my family, future kids (and most importantly) my own ambitious dreams.

Be honest!

And if someone doesn't like your honesty.

You should not do any business with them either.
