Plate full of content ideas to play with...

“I want to take action.”

“I want to write an email daily.”

"What the h*ck should I write about, I have no new ideas”

These are the conversations I had with myself when I started my - 1 email 30-day challenge.

But you know what?

As of now, when I'm writing this email, I've solved all of my idea generation problems. And believe me, I have ONE month worth of ideas patiently sitting in my notepad waiting to be published.

I have solved my idea generation problem.

And, after solving this problem, I realized that NOT having new content ideas is usually heard from new creators. Generally speaking, the other creators who have crossed the six month (or one-year mark) do not worry about ideas.

Why?

Because the old creators have already immersed themselves.

Let me explain:

Just like a plant has to be poured with water (consume ideas) for a few months and sometimes even years... before it can bear any fruits (produce ideas).

You also have to consume ideas before you can produce them.

But luckily, in our case, we don't have to do it for years and months. Only after one week of consuming ideas, you'll notice your brain start popping with new ideas. And my favorite way to consume ideas is by reading articles, books and listening to podcasts of inspiring creators (of my niche).

But wait there’s more to this…

Consuming is only 50% of the battle.

Another 50% is that you've to capture ideas the moment they pop into your mind.

Trust me I lost count of so many brilliant ideas just because of my laziness in not writing them down instantly.

That’s why now I've made a rule that no matter what I'm doing if I get a new idea I will instantly write it down (either in my phone or my notebook). And I suggest you to do the same.

Now your task for this week is:

To start consuming ideas, and recording new ideas instantly in your notebook.

(just do this and see how you'll have a plate full of ideas to play with).

On that note:

If you’d like hire a copywriter who can turn plain vanilla content ideas into “playful” emails that your readers LOVE reading and buyers LOVE buying from…
