I wish great 2Pac sold courses on personal branding.

On the January of twenty-nine…

I was exposed to this puppy called personal brand.

Not to say… I was a caveman who had no clue about personal brands. I knew about it... But I was blindfolded to realize how powerful building brands are...

However over these past three months:

I have been learning, studying, and analyzing successful brands. But what I usually notice is that personal branding boils down to one single “leg piece”.

Here it is:

Be unapologetically you.

Yes.

And you know who are the masters of this skill?

No, not your fav online giggly face gurus

But the great men of the past.

The men who have been tortured, humiliated, and (even) assassinated for their beliefs.

For example:

Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, Tupac.

They had a real cult of raving fans listening, hanging, and following every word they preached.

Isn’t this what we all aspire to do with our brands?

Build a following around our words and beliefs.

So why not study, analyze, read such great men of the past to learn about (1) brand building (2) how to be unapologetically you (3) and more importantly…how to become a better human being.
