Do you have writers insomnia too?
Live update:
I just checked my phone. It's 1:18 am right now, but I'm not asleep. Usually, I sleep between 10 to 11 pm. Yet today, I ain't feeling sleepy at all.
No, not because I was on my phone, or I slept in the afternoon.
Because:
I have writers' insomnia.
Now don't worry, you will not find this word in google (because I just coined it).
And here's what I mean by writers insomnia:
It's a unique disorder that hits you (around the time) when you go to your bed. To be precise, when you close your eyes to fall asleep. Unusually, your brain starts popping with amazing content ideas. Such ideas are so amazing that you cannot help but open your eyes, look for your pen, and jot them in a notebook.
BTW, It doesn't happen once.
It happens again. And again. One more time.
Until you fill pages (and pages) with new content ideas.
(kinda annoying for many folks, I guess)
Now:
How to cure it?
I don't know (go ask great J.K Rowling).
But you know what?
I enjoy this insomnia.
I mean, look at me right now. I couldn't sleep because of this disorder so I just woke up, switched my laptop to write an email - and tell you about writers' insomnia.
Isn’t this a nice to have disease?
It is.
Oh btw, I just checked it's 1:27 now.
I wrote this email in less than 10 minutes.
Now, I will go to sleep.
Good night.
